The Luv Field: The Luv exists everywhere on the planet, but its concentration can vary depending on location. Certain areas, like ancient ruins, ley lines, or specific geological formations, have higher concentrations of Luv.
Luvteals: The Luv gives one in a thousand people who had no magical ancestry to be born with magical powers. This ability is hereditary but can sometimes appear spontaneously in families with no magical history.
If two Luvteals have a child the chance of the child being a Luvteal is about eighty percent and if only one parent is a Luvteal and the other parent has no magic ability the chance of the child being a Luvteal is about fifty percent or higher depending on how "Pure" their magic blood or ancestry is.
Personal Luv Capacity: Each Luvteal has a personal Luv well, a reservoir of Luv they can draw on. This reservoir is replenished by the surrounding Luv field, but overuse can lead to depletion and physical/mental exhaustion and in rare cases even death.
