#7: Smugmug

Invented by: Solebarr Syntaritov
Type: Social
Complexity: Moderate (C4)
We use it for: confidence boosting, bracing the nerves

Appearance: rich, milk chocolate hue, with streaks of bright golden iridescence throughout.

Taste: caramel chocolate, hints of walnut on the edge.

Effect: induces confidence in the consumant, with undertones of self-assurance, ease, self-righteousness, and satisfaction. Typically served in small quantities due to its potency. Most often used as a social aid, often taken prior to giving speeches or embarking on a social engagement. Results vary; moderation in dosage is of paramount importance.

Notes

  • MODERATION. I cannot say it enough. Go easy on this stuff; a few sips can be the difference between a smooth operator and an overconfident know-it-all. -Solebarr
  • This draught is not to be served, under ANY circumstance, to either the groom or bride prior to their wedding. Nor, for that matter, is it to be served to any of the groomsmen or the bridesmaids prior to the ceremony or reception. The last thing you need on a wedding day is artificial ego inflation. -Miqo
  • Allowable uses, in my opinion: calm the nerves before a first date; to help with interviewing for a job; as an aid to help with public address or performance; but one should never be dependent on this drink. If you cannot do something without taking Smugmug beforehand, then you are either using Smugmug too often, or you are doing something a reasonable person would not be doing in the first place. -Miqo
